Mold Inspection

It would be wise to perform a mold inspection on what will probably be the largest purchase you will ever make.  If mold is detected before you buy more than likely the seller will pay for the treatment. If you find out there is a serious mold problem after you move in, you will probably be paying for it yourself. A small mold inspection fee could literally save you thousands of dollars and your health.

Mold can be an allergen, a pathogen and toxigenic. It can lead to a host of health problems. Too much exposure is just not healthy.

Our company use to take air samples of the homes interior air and send them to a laboratory for examination. We had determined that the air sample approach did not really work that well compared to an inspection performed by a certified mold specialist along with a trained certified mold detection dog ( same as a trained drug detection dog ).

Dogs have been used for years as search and rescue dogs, bomb detection dogs, drug detection dogs and more. Dogs can smell 1,000 times better than a human. Dog’s noses are so sensitive that they can detect mold inside walls, behind cabinets and other places where mold may not be detected with an air sample test. There are three distinct advantages to using a mold detection dog:

• Dogs can detect mold better than humans.
• Mold detection dogs are the most non-destructive way to check for mold.
• A dog can detect mold inside of a wall without drilling or cutting into the wall.
